SaltyDogPhotography > Another shot taken at the Socrates Sculpture Park in Long Island City. No, the house isn't photoshopped, it's one of the exhibits. The little girl running by in a lavender dress adds to the surreal feel and was the result of a lot of patience and a bit of luck!

SaltyDogPhotography > One of the best things about Chinatown is the abundance of fresh and sometimes strange foods. Another fun thing is the guessing game of "what is it", as most signs are, well - in Chinese.

SaltyDogPhotography > Meremaids have busy lives too, that's why they're carrying cell phones. I wish I had moved my camera bags out of the way here, but these two are friends of mine, so at least I knew they wouldn't get stolen.
SaltyDogPhotography > The Coney Island Mermaid Parade is a great place for "strange people shots". Here's a (male, I am certain) contestant with a replica of the legendary parachute jump attraction fashioned into a hat.
